The Communication
Research Center offers clients a full-spectrum
of survey research services: questionnaire design,
sampling, data collection, statistical analyses,
and report writing. Clients can contract with
the center for any or all of these services.
The CRC
utilizes Teleform
© software for content
capture mail surveys. The flexible, optical-scan
system is accurate, efficient and allows for
very quick turnaround of survey findings. The
center can design and implement any size sample
survey. The optical-scan survey is ideal for
organization surveys, follow-up evaluations
for training workshops, on-site customer satisfaction
surveys, conference evaluations, work climate/employee
surveys, readership surveys and more.
On-line, interactive survey projects
are designed using the latest Web-based development
software. These paperless surveys promise
fast turnaround at very reasonable rates.
Web-based surveys are a secure, reliable,
and efficient means for gathering information
from an increasingly computer-literate work
force and public. The center can assist with
questionnaire development, data collection
and data analysis.
Focus group research involves
in-depth, interactive discussions with a small
number of specially-selected participants.
Group members are carefully recruited and
are homogeneous in terms of the issue under
study. The center offers highly experienced
moderators to recruit group participants and
to conduct focus groups for message testing,
survey development, and concept generation.
The call center features rapid-dial
technology, computer-assisted telephone interviewing,
and call monitoring. Standard interviewing
protocols insure the highest quality of data
collection. The call center is available for
local, state and national surveys. The center
is also capable of conducting phone interviews
in Spanish.
Our experienced interviewers
are highly motivated Communication students
at Florida State University. The call center
assures the highest quality of survey data
through careful monitoring of interviews and
other quality-control measures standard for
telephone survey research. The center is available
to assist organizations with marketing research,
public opinion surveys, customer satisfaction
surveys, audience studies, and needs assessments.
The CRC utilizes bi-lingual (Spanish/English)
interviewers for its telephone surveys.
